Processor components are aimed at processing input records and generating transformed output records. Most of the sophisticated pipeline work is done at this stage: this is where the business logic is implemented. Processor components can be stateful or stateless, depending on the functionality: a TCP Dialog Processor will keep internal status tables to allow assembling a complete dialog made out of request and response packets, while a Cook Processor will run a custom script on one input record and generate one output record. You will be able to leverage DDC Converters to significantly modify the data conversion.
